
The Men initiated into Zeta Phi Chapter









In the fall of 1924, Brother Emory A. James,
Brother Charles E. Harry III, Brother William Conway Summers, Brother Charleston B. Cox and Brother Myers E. Proctor felt the need to further the cause of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in Indianapolis, Indiana. An application was made, a short
time later a charter was granted. On the 29th of April
in 1925, Zeta Phi chapter came into existence. Within a
month of its founding, the men of Zeta Phi initiated;
William E. Baugh, F.F. Bowler, Henry E. Dunn,
William T. Wilhite, Harry D. Evans and William A.
Thomas. From these eleven men in 1925, Zeta Phi
Chapter began the foundation that was to assure
a continuous and healthy growth.
